Catalytic Capital for BIPOC Wealth Creation

NGIN is pleased to share insights on inclusive capital, with findings that (1) racialized definitions of risk continue to hold back capital (2) the 2020 corporate financial commitments can be viewed as market corrections rather than catalytic capital investments (3) there is evidence of catalytic capital investments which advance BIPOC wealth and can be scaled.

CalEnviroScreen 4.0

A new version of the California Communities Environmental Health Screening Tool: CalEnviroScreen 4.0 was released in October 2021. CalEnviroScreen is a screening methodology that can be used to help identify California communities that are disproportionately burdened by multiple sources of pollution.

 

CALENVIROSCREEN 3.0 

CalEnviroscreen 3.0 is the latest iteration of the California Communities Environmental Health Screening Tool. This version of CalEnviroScreen incorporates recent data for nearly all indicators and improvements in the way some indicators are calculated to better reflect environmental conditions or a population’s vulnerability to environmental pollutants.
